| Acting commissioner takes over corrections division |

MO -- St. Louis has hired Dale Glass as acting commissioner of the St. Louis Division of Corrections. Glass recently served as the deputy warden for the Missouri Department of Corrections, where he worked for 28 years. He retired in 2009. The appointment is provisional. The Civil Service Commission has yet to rule on the appeal of the former corrections commissioner's termination. If it is upheld, Glass will be required to go through a competitive process to win a permanent appointment. Read More. |
