2-day lockdown ends after 2 brawls at Iowa prison |

ANAMOSA, Iowa (AP) — A maximum-security prison in eastern Iowa has ended a two-day lockdown that was imposed after two gang-related brawls involving inmates happened over the weekend. The Iowa Department of Corrections said Monday that Anamosa State Penitentiary has returned to normal operations. An order to lock its 1,100 inmates in their cells since Saturday has been lifted.
