A former officer at Allendale Correctional Institution in South Carolina has been arrested after investigators say she had sex with an inmate. Earlene Bryant, 31, was arrested Wednesday and charged with sexual misconduct, the State Law Enforcement Division said. Bryant confessed to having a sexual relationship with the prisoner, according to an affidavit issued by the state Department of Corrections. Bryant began a personal relationship with the prisoner in March 2003, authorities said. |
