Smoke bomb thrown into parole office |

COLUMBIA, SC — It is believed that a sparsely filled room prevented an early morning arson attempt from consuming a building housing the Department of Corrections and Parole. Columbia fire officials received an early morning call at bout 6:30am to 1221 Gregg Street. Upon arrival they discovered what appeared to be a smoke bomb had been thrown through a window, in what they believe is an attempt to ignite a fire inside the building. Read More. |
