Given current drought conditions in many parts of the country July’s webinar topic is very timely.“Cost Effective Water Management in the Correctional Setting” will bring together some of the country’s foremost experts on a variety of water management approaches. Bob Boulware, P.E., M.B.A., President, American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association (ARCSA.org) will discuss a variety of approaches to the utilization of rainwater, re-utilization of gray water and strategies for reducing water consumption. Ed Howell, Customer Service Manager for I-CON, one of the country’s most utilized water management systems in corrections will discuss how technology can be brought to bear to directly manage inmate consumption of precious water resources. Peg Ritchie, of Ritchie Consulting Services, LLC and former Deputy Director of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation will discuss the emerging science of waterless urinals and their application in the correctional setting. We'll take a look at how these things affect water saving and consumption:

I think the rainwater collection and a sistern setup is the way to go.they should cut down on the amount of laundry and showers in prison too.Showers should be every other day,laundry every 2 days.just my opinion but people in prisons have it to good.
