Leesville, La. — Two inmates at the Vernon Parish Jail face additional charges after being found with prohibited materials inside the jail. Craig Hopkins, 42, of Leesville and Octavius Riggins, 28, of New Llano, were each charged with one count of introduction of contraband into the Vernon Parish Jail. According to the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office, during a routine search of the bullpens at the jail, Hopkins and Riggins were found to be in possession of a cell phone.
