| Jail employee accused of sexual assault |

Stone County (Mo.) has dismissed one of its jail employees, who has been charged with sexual contact with an inmate. A 23 year-old female arrested for a DWI early Sept. 3 reported she was sexually assaulted while being held at the jail. Sheriff Richard Hill says jailer Marcus Cooley was arrested and charged. Cooley is free on 25-thousand dollar bond. The sheriff has asked the Missouri highway patrol to investigate the case. |
