McALESTER — An Oklahoma State Penitentiary inmate was recently convicted of first degree manslaughter. Aaron R. Prado, 27, was convicted of killing another OSP inmate in July of 2009. Prado was sentenced to serve 20 years in the custody of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. His sentence will run concurrent to the sentence he is serving now. According to court records, Prado kicked and hit the head and body of fellow inmate Kenneth Wayne Gore, who was 45 years old at the time of his death.
