| Feds sue Florida over lack of kosher meals in state prisons |

MIAMI — The federal government has sued Florida’s Department of Corrections for not offering kosher meals to all prison inmates. In its lawsuit filed Tuesday in Miami, federal officials say that by refusing to offer the strict religious diet in line with Jewish beliefs, the state “forces hundreds of its prisoners to violate their core religious beliefs on a daily basis.” The Justice Department says Florida is violating a federal law that prohibits state and local governments imposing burdens on prisoners’ ability to worship. Give them the Kosher food
I almost had to sue Hagerstown Prison in order just to get my male pastor in the prison any time I need him. Most of the other Christian inmates had a female pastor provided by the State. I had to explain to the Warden that my faith has tenets that a man can not look to a believing woman as an authority figure in the faith or at home. Eventually the Warden conceded and no lawsuit was needed. It took some time explaining to the Warden that other religions also do not believe in female authority. My faith requires me to submit to government authority of any gender as long as it is not faith based and as long as it does not require me to break a law of God. It is not what goes into the belly that defiles a man but it is the spirit ( ideology) behind the words said that come out of him. If the State caters to one religion they must make all religions equal by perception even if is occult. This is because the feminist laws by statute have implemented the concept of egalitarianism. Now they are in bondage to that principle by default.
