The decision, handed down by U.S. District Court Judge Mark Wolf, is believed to be the first such order by a judge in the nation, said lawyer Frances S. Cohen of Bingham McCutchen of Boston. Cohen is one of the attorneys representing Michelle Kosilek, who lives as a woman in an all-male prison.

State officials were reviewing the 126-page decision and "were exploring our appellate options," said Diane Wiffin, director of public affairs for the state's Department of Corrections. She said she was barred by state law from discussing any of the specifics of the case.

The principle here is that his true punishment is that he is becoming what he resented. This is similar to post traumatic stress disorder. Have you ever noticed that the obsessed owner of a dog procures a similar personality? Let him have his self-punishment. If a male is abused by his mother he will become what abused him or he will become a womanizer in order to compensate for his emasculation. The only third way is healing and restoration through regeneration. He obviously prefers degeneration. A person who smokes a cigar will sometimes fondle his instrument before smoking it as if it was his beloved. This is self-abusive behavior also. The principle is always the same with romantic love and addiction.
