Brownback takes issue with DOJ report |

KANSAS - Gov. Sam Brownback said Friday he will request a meeting with the U.S. Attorney General to discuss a Department of Justice report critical of the Topeka Correctional Facility. Brownback said he believes the report, which was compiled based on a 2011 investigation, is outdated. He pointed to a 2012 audit from the federal Bureau of Prisons — that houses four of its inmates at TCF — that stated there are "no deficiencies" at the facility. "If they have more current information or different information than the Bureau of Prisons, I want to see it," Brownback said.
