Former youth offenders graduate Successfully Dressed program |

STOCKTON — With his head held high and eyes focused on the small crowd in front of him, Terriko Thompson, 20, spoke about how he’s matured during his incarceration. “At one time I didn’t value my life,” said Thompson, one of 12 recent graduates of the Successfully Dressed program at OH Close Youth Correctional Facility. The rehabilitation effort of the Division of Juvenile Justice is aimed at young men eligible for parole in the coming months. It offers classes on hygiene, relationships with women and job interview skills. As a symbol of their completion of the program, Thompson and his classmates received suits donated by Men’s Wearhouse. The men will wear the suits at their upcoming parole hearings and future job interviews. Read More. |
