4 inmates escaped from Pearl River County jail |

Four Pearl River County (Miss.) jail inmates are being sought after they escaped from early yesterday morning, authorities said. The inmates are identified as: - Bradley P. Lemmon, 24, whose last known address was 2119 Crabtree St., Orange Texas. He is described as a white male standing 5 feet, 11inches, weighing a 165 pounds. He was being held on charges of burglary of buildings and taking of vehicles. - Charlie Smith, 24, whose last known address was 61 Pittman Rd., Poplarville. He is described as a black male standing 5 feet, 10 inches, weighing 145 pounds. He was being held on possession of stolen property. - Raymond Anthony Hartfield, 34, whose last known address was 166 Hartfield Rd., Poplarville. He is described as a black male standing 6 feet, 1 inch, weighing 195 pounds. He was being held on a charge of possession of precursors. - Ryan Rome, 35, whose last known address was 58308 Hwy. 439, Bogalusa, La. He is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 190 pounds and was being held on burglary, grand larceny and possession of a stolen vehicle. The escapees are believed to have forced a metal grate covering their cell window out of the cement attachment and then made their way through a double razor wire fence. Their direction of travel is not known. |
