| Coffeewood receives high marks for compliant audit |

Virginia - Coffeewood Correctional Center in Mitchells received word that following a recent audit the facility is extraordinarily compliant with the Commission of Accreditation for Corrections and the American Correctional Association. According to a Department of Corrections news release, of the 60 mandatory standards established by the state, Coffeewood earned 100 percent compliance; of the 431 non-mandatory standards and Coffeewood earned compliance with 430, a compliance rate of 99.77 percent. With this rating, Coffeewood has received the highest score ever in an ACA audit by the Virginia Department of Corrections.
