McELHATTAN, PA - The Clinton County Prison Board is approaching the end stage in its efforts to contain health care costs involving inmates at the local prison. Board Chairman Jeff Snyder said Wednesday the administration solicited seven firms, of which four have indicated an interest in submitting proposals. The matter will be the subject of a special meeting to be held Oct. 24 at 11 a.m. in the commissioners' meeting room on the third floor of the Garden Building at Jay and Main streets in Lock Haven.
