Lamberti is a problem, he came up in the ranks of the Correction Department and after leaving became suddenly oblivious to the general goal sought to be achieved by incarcerating people. It is first and foremost a deterant to others who might contemplate a committing a crime. Those sociopaths who will be chronic recitivists will be included in the bunch the do-gooder judge wants to release and Al Lamberti will keep his job having to arrest them all over again. Lamberti is more than short-sighted here and that is why he will lose this upcoming election.
