Gibson County (Tenn.) authorities are questioning a jail inmate in the death of a person whose body was found in a burned van. Sheriff Joe Shepard says the body was consumed in the blaze and his investigators are awaiting a coroner's report before saying who it was. Police have been looking for a 27-year-old woman who disappeared September seventh. It was Sara Summer Hinson's van that was found burned behind a cornfield between Humboldt and Gibson. Shepard declined to name the inmate being questioned, but says the man was out of jail at the time Hinson disappeared. |
