The Chicago study researching the lives of juvenile offenders will be a tremendous boon to policy makers, law enforcement officials and anyone interested in the well-being of youths involved with the juvenile justice system, undoubtedly providing rich clues to how we can secure better futures not just for these youths but for society as a whole. Much evidence already supports the observations of Xavier McElrath-Bey, a data gatherer for the study, about the importance of caring adults, peers and communities in helping youths make critical decisions that can affect the rest of their lives. The progressive movement is in complete opposition to liberty and Chicago was the basic breeding ground for the political cancer that appeared benign in the beginning.
Possibly the progressive movement could be partly responsible through their Jim Crow laws that divided the black male head of his house and replaced the head of his house with the collective State as surrogate father by priority of position. I sincerely doubt that community organization can replace the consistency of a real traditional family unit with a father’s love. The socialist progressive organizations have emasculated stability and the authority of males in the home and now they want more persons in the collective village to “nurture” the damage they have already done to these family units in the past? I doubt Chicago is a prime example of real family stabilization on a generic basis.. Try something different like returning to the original landmarks of strong family structure with laws that support the keeping of the marriage contract seriously with property ownership being returned to young adults (especially males) under the 5th and 6th amendments of these united States. Males are at a distinct disadvantage in the government school system and this is not an accident. This is not a race issue but it is covert distorted educational misandry. Woodrow Wilson tried to continue these laws but progressives are government educated.
