| Police find escapee, continue search for second inmate |

An inmate who escaped from the DeKalb County (Tenn.) Jail last week was captured in Coffee County Sunday. The inmate, Kevin Smith, may have stolen a pickup truck from the school bus garage to get out of DeKalb County, deputies said. Deputies said they believe Smith moved around several counties Smith and Toby Young escaped after they knocked a correctional officer to the floor when a cell door was opened. The correctional officer received a two day suspension without pay for not following proper procedures. Police said they were still searching for Toby Young. |
