McLaren Greater Lansing hospital contracts to lodge, care for Michigan inmates |

LANSING, MI -- A Lansing hospital has contracted to house and provide care for Michigan prisoners in an arrangement the Department of Corrections expects to save the state more than $1 million annually. McLaren Greater Lansing hospital, formerly known as Ingham Regional Medical Center, has accommodated inmates in an 11-bed secure area of its building at 401 W. Greenlawn Ave. since June.
