Vt. Corrections Dept. holds town meetings

MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) — The Vermont Department of Corrections is holding quarterly town meetings to gather input from the public on the department’s policies.

The meetings will held on interactive television.

Commissioner Andrew Pallito says the department hopes citizens, stakeholders and community partners will take part and provide the department with constructive and open input.

The first meeting will held on Dec. 4 from 4:15 p.m.—6:15 p.m.

The other Corrections Town Meetings will be held in 2013 on Feb. 12, May 15 and Aug. 14.

There are times when it is surprising that he has any friends at all. But thankfully he does have a few. He drives a Dodge Stratus. People respect him, except at home.
