Milwaukee - When Jotaviaous Cheese was 17, he was involved in the fatal shooting death of Neal Tellis. The shooting was over a jacket. Cheese was a troubled youth. He was bounced from home to home after his father was killed and his mother abandoned him. On the day of the shooting, Cheese shot Neal at the command of a friend. Cheese reads at barely a fifth-grade level. Cheese, now 18, was sentenced this month to 20 years in prison for his part in the shooting by Milwaukee County Circuit Judge David Borowski. Borowski said the senseless violence combined with the fact that many of the young men who come before him can barely read is frustrating. He's also frustrated by what he sees as a lack of political will in this city to address violence and illiteracy. He wonders what else he can do. Read More. |

Illiteracy is a product of redefining words that are arbitrary from day to day and bastardized but rarely is etymologically correct usage promoted but is basically mocked by the politically correct crowd. The modern day progressive liberal of today loves big government. The Classical liberal of old hated the intrusion of the warfare as well as the welfare state. The neo-conservative loves the warfare state so much he would sell his children to make the rest of the world conform to progressive democracy by force if necessary as The Hannity types puts a boot in rear of the sovereignty of other nations. An adulterer or adulteress is obsolete because covenants/ contracts mean nothing either. Most individuals today know their favorite sports team but few understand that such distractions make a way for the mischief of politics to be hidden from most behind the scenes. Illiteracy is planned and is confusing on purpose and redefining words are confusing. God is not the author of confusion. Without property ownership being respected and a basis for this country along with integrity and honesty words are hot air no matter how many syllables there are in such. It is sad that our cultures of the salad bowl in multiculturalism must each remain unique in essence with no in depth communication as a real collective force. Think what a force a united language could be against those promoting culture over a civilized world.
