| New superintendents named to 3 state prisons |

The Oregon Department of Corrections has announced new superintendent appointments at three state prisons Tuesday. Joe Decamp has been named to the Columbia River Correctional Institution in Portland, Rick Angelozzi to the Deer Ridge Correctional Institution in Madras and Steve Brown will head to the Warner Creek Correctional Facility in Lakeview. DeCamp, a 22-year department employee who started his career as an Oregon State Penitentiary corrections officer, leaves his superintendent post at Deer Ridge. He was appointed to the position in 2008. Angelozzi had been the superintendent at Warner Creek since 2009. He joined the department in 2001 after 23 years in the U.S. Navy. From 2007, Brown was the Department of Corrections pharmacy and medical stores manager at Snake River Correctional Institution in Ontario. He worked for the Oregon Department of Transportation and state Department of Human Services before joining the Department of Corrections. -- The Oregonian Read More. |
