BRYAN, Texas (AP) — The trial of a convicted killer already serving life in prison and now accused in the death of a corrections officer has begun in Central Texas. Forty-five-year-old John Ray Falk Jr. could wind up with a death sentence for an escape attempt five years ago that left 59-year-old Susan Canfield dead.
