| Walton County Department of Corrections Earns Re-Accreditation |

FLORIDA - Walton County Department of Corrections is on its way to re-accreditation. This is a high honor that has only been awarded to 36 facilities in the state of Florida. The process has boosted teamwork and moral inside the facility. The Walton DOC has worked hard to instill a standard of excellence in their performance and procedures. As Chief Executive Officer, Major Stan Sunday said, they strive for nothing less than perfection. "Why settle for less," asked Sunday. It's clear that the Walton Department of Corrections hasn't settled or rested since receiving their original accreditation status in 2009 from the Florida Corrections Accreditation Commission.
