Inmate out on work release dies on job |

An inmate out on work release died on the job. Marcus Roger`s co workers say he never missed a day of work. He worked at the Springhill Palette company in Webster Parish, La. Co-workers say Monday Rogers loaded a pile of wood too high on the fork lift he was driving. Rogers was a part of the work release program at Bayou Dorcheat Correctional facility. Webster Sheriff Gary Sexton says he was behind bars on a drug violation. Rogers would have celebrated his 27th birthday on Tuesday and in about four months he would have completed his time at the Bayou Dorcheat Correctional facility. |
