OREGON - A changing of the guard recently came about in Klamath County. Following the 2012 general election, some new faces joined local law enforcement. Klamath County Chief Deputy Martin Rowley is part of that group. Rowley, recently appointed to his position by Sheriff Frank Skrah, is a law enforcement veteran and local ranch owner who spent the last two years training contract workers for Triple Canopy, a global provider of mission support and security services for “government agencies and multinational corporations in high risk and complex environments across the globe,” according to the company’s website. When asked what that means, Rowley said, “Think Blackwater.” Among the 70-some trainers, Rowley said he was one of only about 10 with a background in law enforcement. Read More. |
