Coweta District of Boy Scouts honors Sheriff Yeager |

GEORGIA - Coweta County Sheriff Mike Yeager has been honored by the Coweta District of the Boy Scouts of America as the 2013 Golden Eagle Recipient. The Boy Scouts annually select an honoree who displays the values and ideals that are associated with scouting. Newnan City Councilman and 2012 Golden Eagle Honoree Bob Coggin served as host for the event on March 21. The purpose of the dinner was to raise support for the Boy Scouts of America. Coggin was particularly interested in sponsoring the 5th Annual Golden Eagle Dinner because this year’s event honored Yeager, whom he considers a dear friend. Read More. |
