A deputy director of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections will be the guest speaker when the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice holds its Justice Sunday in Lawton April 14. Reginald Hines, deputy director of the community corrections/probation and parole division, will lead the event at Bethlehem Baptist Church, the first-time Justice Sunday has been held in Lawton, organizers said. The event will begin at 4 p.m. in the Bethlehem Family Life Center, 602 NW Arlington. The event is open to the public. The National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice hosts Justice Sunday each year as a way to focus attention on current, relevant issues in the criminal justice processes, issuing a challenge for engagement by stakeholders and providing an educational community awareness forum.
