Women inmates to receive cosmetology classes |

MISSISSIPPI - GREENVILLE — A regional prison in Washington County is planning to offer cosmetology classes for women inmates. Sheriff Milton Gaston Sr. says since the facility opened in September 2011, he's been working with the Mississippi Department of Corrections to get more training programs for offenders, all of whom are women. He said the biggest push has been for a cosmetology program. "We have requested two (cosmetology) instructors from the Mississippi Department of Corrections," Gaston told the Delta Democrat Times (http://bit.ly/ZhiTeP ).
