WISCONSIN - TAYCHEEDAH - A new state program is expected to not only reduce crime, but also help fill the gap in Wisconsin's workforce, and it starts with training those behind bars. Taycheedah inmate 44-year-old Julie Jackson is looking forward to her release next fall, especially if it means she'll have a jump on a potential job. "I'm a little bit older than the other girls, so it's a brand new skill that I'll take with me," Jackson said. Jackson is one of nine inmates at the prison taking part in a new six week training program, using Lakeshore Technical College's mobile manufacturing lab. FOX 11 got to tour the lab Monday morning.
