Oklahoma Deputy Killed in Crash While Responding |

A Washita County sheriff's deputy was killed in a collision while responding to a call early Sunday morning. Deputy Douglas Leon Hanna was en route to a call around 12:10 a.m. on State Highway 54A when the crash occurred, according to The Oklahoman. The 44-year-old deputy's vehicle was struck by a pickup truck after its driver failed to stop at a stop sign, Oklahoma State Police told the newspaper. Hanna's vehicle rolled and he was partially ejected, but troopers said he was wearing a seat belt. Read More. |
