Inmate dies after stabbing at Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex |

State police said an inmate at a state prison in West Liberty used a shank to stab another inmate who later died, but the weapon has not been found. Michael S. Lynch was stabbed in the neck Sunday at Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex and was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, where he died the next day, police and corrections officials said. A murder charge is pending against fellow inmate Eric S. Chapman.
