| Department of Corrections Employees Rally for a Raise |

This week Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers are swarming the state capitol, pushing for a pay hike. Wednesday, Oklahoma corrections officers will do the same thing. They're the men and women who run our state prisons, and Wednesday morning, hundreds of Oklahoma corrections officers will rally at the capitol, asking lawmakers to approve a pay hike. According to the director of the Oklahoma Corrections Professionals Association Sean Wallace, 30 percent of Department of Corrections employees are on welfare.
