Vt. Corrections Dept. wants feedback from public

MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - The Vermont Department of Corrections is holding a town hall style meeting on interactive television to get comments and take questions from the public.

Officials also will give an update on changes to the Community High School of Vermont, a school run by the Corrections Department.

The department is encouraging the public to take part, saying it believes community participation and support are essential for the successful delivery of correctional services.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. via Vermont Interactive Television, which has sites around the state. The locations are in Bennington, Brattleboro, Lyndonville, Montpelier, Middlebury, Newport, Rutland, Springfield, St. Albans and Williston.
