(Riverton, Wyo.) – The Wyoming Honor Farm’s Wild Horse training program will be featured on national cable television tonight, May 14th, on the RFD-TV Network. “Clinton Anderson, a world renown horse trainer from Australia, visited the Honor Farm last June to learn more about the horse operations, and give us some tips about how we implement his horse training system,” said Rich Fleetwood, an Ag Administrative Assistant at the Honor Farm in an email to County10.com today. ”Finally, the episode has been edited and is being presented on TV this evening, as well as on the web.” The episode airing tonight is entitled “Privileges Earned” and it is episode #1313. A promotion for the program on Down Under Horsemanship TV said about the episode: “Clinton goes behind the walls of the Wyoming Honor Farm, a minimum custody facility for male offenders that is part of the Wyoming Department of Corrections. At the Riverton facility, the Method is being used as a rehabilitation tool. Through its Wild Horse Training Program the Honor Farm puts prisoners in charge of training wild mustangs from the BLM that are then adopted to the public via auction. The inmates use the Method to train the horses, and in this episode Clinton gives them lessons on how to improve their technique.” Read More. |
