Overview This e-course is intended to provide an introduction to objective jail classification for those who have not participated in the National Institute of Corrections training on objective jail classification and as a refresher or reference for those who have received the training. This course is designed to provide participants with the concepts and procedures that will help them implement a classification process based on objective criteria. The participants will develop the skill to use the instruments and tools used in assessing an inmate's risks and needs.
