SOUTH DAKOTA - Beginning with the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe next week, state officials are scheduled to start visiting Indian reservations in South Dakota to lay the foundation for new tribal parole programs.

State Tribal Affairs Secretary J.R. LaPlante briefed members of a legislative panel Tuesday about the plan that will involve his office and the state Department of Corrections.
