DENVER - The Colorado Department of Corrections revised its procedures after a white supremacist killer who was supposed to be serving life in prison was released by mistake in 2002, another in a continuing list of problems for the state agency that have come to light over the past four months. Clifton Blecha was serving life in prison without parole when he was released on parole and fled to the East Coast. He was later recaptured.
