| Inmate back in custody after escape attempt |

A Springdale, Ark. inmate was back in custody last Wednesday after leading police on a foot chase. Springdale authorities were transporting Robert Casebolt from the Washington County Jail to Decision Point for drug treatment when he escaped. Police said Casebolt violated some rules at the facility. When officials went to pick him up, he ran out the back door, officers said. Casebolt apparently hid in a nearby culvert until a Springdale K-9 unit found him. It was not immediately clear whether Casebolt would face additional charges in connection with the escape. |
