In June, Jesse Bonderman met me at Redemption Foods, located in a nondescript strip mall in Los Angeles just north of Santa Monica Boulevard on North Vine Street. Bonderman is the Executive Director of New Horizon Community Reentry, a non-profit 501(c)(3), which owns the restaurant. Our host came over and immediately recognized Bonderman, but sized me up to be a newcomer.
