A Calcasieu Parish, La. corrections officer has been arrested on charges of helping an inmate in a possible escape attempt from the parish prison. Last Wednesday, detectives found out about a possible prison break. An investigation led to the arrest Denny Williams. He was fired. The 22-year-old deputy has been charged with malfeasance in office, assisting an escape and taking contraband into prison. Williams posted bond and was released from the Calcasieu Correctional Center last week. |
