Pennsylvania prison guards suspended, accused of arranging fights for food

Three Pennsylvania corrections officers are reportedly suspended for coaxing inmates into wacky stunts like snorting spicy Ramen Noodle powder and drinking a bottle of water laced with pepper spray foam – all in return for food and coffee.

The York Daily Record reports David Michael Whitcomb , 28, Mark Andrew Haynes, 26, and Daniel Graff, 37, were all charged with official oppression for orchestrating the so-called “Retard Olympics,” among those they were paid to oversee.

Inmates reportedly allege other stunts part-and-parcel of the bizarre affair included drinking a gallon of milk in an hour, eating a spoonful of cinnamon, snorting crushed candy and eating fruit with the peels intact.

The allegations principally stem from two inmates, one of whom is reportedly serving time for lying to authorities.

However, those two inmates -- David Michael Wright and James Williams Hicks Jr., both 27 -- also allege that the so-called “challenges” grew progressively violent, according to the York Daily Record.

Wright reportedly leveled a litany of allegations that included how the trio of officers once organized a wrestling match between him and Hicks – held in a closet – in which the winner received extra food and coffee.
