SANDY HOOK — The warden of the Little Sandy Correctional Complex has been selected Warden of the Year by the Kentucky Department of Corrections. Joseph P. Meko was honored last month at the DOC’s annual awards luncheon in Lexington. He was lauded for the importance he places on his staff, his ability to encourage his employees and for bringing new inmate programs and job opportunities to his institution.
