People are lost for words when Amy Fazackerley reveals that she volunteers with child sex offenders. But her urge to help protect children has ended up with the 24-year-old landing a full-time job working in a local prison. Amy, of Rochdale , graduated in forensic psychology in 2011, and applied for a voluntary position with the Circles of Support and Accountability (CoSA). The scheme helps male and female offenders whose social isolation motivated them to commit a crime. “If I can help in anyway to prevent a child becoming a victim of a sex attack, that’s enough motivation for me,” said Amy.
