UPDATE: The Minnesota Department of Corrections has confirmed that parole violator Daniel Joseph Rossberg, 23, is a convicted sex offender. Sam Benshoof, an information officer with the Minnesota Department of Corrections reported Friday that Rossberg was sentenced and began serving time in June 2011 for a previous criminal sexual conduct charge that involved the assault of a 13-to-15 year-old female. “According to our database, Rossberg was released on Oct. 17,” Benshoof said. “He was going to be on supervised release until Dec. 23, 2013. He’s currently missing and a wanted fugitive because he broke the terms of his supervised release,” Benshoof said. UPDATE: Capt.
