Department of Corrections investigates inmate death at Augusta Correctional Center |

The death of an inmate at the Augusta Correctional Center is under investigation. The News Leader (http://bit.ly/17ulnyv ) reports that 24-year-old Kyle Stullenberg of Stuarts Draft was found dead on Oct. 21. Stullenberg was serving a 10-year sentence at the prison in Craigsville for attempted murder. Virginia Department of Corrections spokesman Larry Traylor tells the newspaper that Stullenberg was in a segregation unit at the prison. The body was sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Roanoke for an autopsy. The Department of Corrections is investigating the death. Read More. |
