A corrections officer has been arrested on three felony charges, accused of collecting $16,124 from the state’s insurance and workers’ compensation fund by providing false documentation of an on-duty injury at the Watertown Correctional Facility.

Corrections officer Steven M. Laplaca, 51, address unavailable, was charged Monday with third-degree grand larceny, first-degree falsifying business records and workers’ compensation fraud.
