| Dobson sentenced to 35 years in prison |

A Kingman man convicted of the murder of an elderly woman more than two years ago was sentenced Friday to more than three decades behind bars. A jury convicted Michael Edwin Dobson Jr., 51, in October of second-degree murder. He had been charged with first-degree murder and vehicle theft. He also faces charges of destruction of a public jail in two different cases and two counts of aggravated assault on a corrections officer in another case. While an inmate at the county jail, he allegedly damaged a fire sprinkler inside his cell and assaulted a corrections officer. Superior Court Judge Steven Conn sentenced Dobson to 35 years in prison for the murder charge. Read More. |
