| Inmate falls into manhole |

An unusual rescue last Monday morning at the Federal Medical Center on Leestown Road in Lexington, Ky. A female inmate fell into an eight foot deep manhole. The inmate was doing work detail in the outer grounds around 10:00 am when she fell into an access hole used for an old water tower. Emergency workers had to use special equipment to get the woman out. She was taken to the hospital for treatment. |
